On June 9, the exhibition "The Light of the Sun: Ancient Shu Civilization and the World" will open its doors in New York. Meticulously crafted replicas and 3D-printed models of iconic ancient Shu civilization artifacts, including the bronze human head, gold mask, Golden Sun Bird gold ornament, and gold scepter, will be exhibited in a stunning collective display.
The exhibition unveils a multimedia installation, "Journey Back to Ancient Shu", featuring three-sided surround projections with dynamic floor projections, elevated by cutting-edge glasses-free 3D technology and 3D animation effects. Spanning approximately three minutes, this presentation traces the developing context of the ancient Shu civilization as well as archaeological milestones. It artfully weaves together vivid site landscapes, dynamically displays exquisite artifacts, and brilliantly spotlights the magnificence of Sanxingdui and Jinsha as cornerstone sites of the Bronze Age Shu civilization in the upper reaches of the Yangtze River.
